Who can be hypnotized?
Everyone can be hypnotized.
What If You Can’t Bring Me Out Of It?
There is absolutely no danger of a person failing to come out of the hypnotic state. In fact, it would be impossible to remain hypnotized. Even if the hypnotherapist left the office while an individual was in the hypnotic state, there would be no danger. They person would drift off into a natural state of sleep and would awaken after he was rested.
Is There Any Danger With Hypnosis?
There is only one way hypnosis can be dangerous. Although using hypnosis for pain control can be a very useful and helpful tool, it can be dangerous if not used responsibly. Blocking pain can block symptoms which in turn can lead to dangerous health issues. Therefore, hypnosis for pain control is only used with a doctor’s release to do so.
Will I Do Something Against My Will?
Hypnosis does not cause people to lose the ability to make decisions as they normally would. At no time would a hypnotized person lose control.
Are Weak-Minded People Easier To Hypnotize?
No. In fact, it is usually found that stronger-minded and strong-willed persons who want to be hypnotized achieve excellent results from hypnosis.
Can I Be Tricked While I’m Hypnotized?
A person cannot be tricked into doing something under hypnosis any easier than he could in a conscious state.
Is Hypnosis Habit Forming?
No. Hypnosis is a very enjoyable state of relaxation, but a person never becomes addicted to hypnosis.
Will I divulge secrets under hypnosis?
No. Just as stated before, a person does not lose control under hypnosis and therefore would not say anything they did not want to say. In fact, it may be easier to lie while hypnotized as the person is more relaxed and at ease.
